All fees must be paid before booking any further appointments. If you have any questions please call or text (404) 938-7938. —————————————————————————— WAX APPOINTMENT DO’S - DO wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing - DO wear cotton panties (they’re less irritating and a more breathable fabric) - DO exfoliate 24-48 hours before appointment - DO take ibuprofen 30 minutes before appointment - DO avoid booking an appointment 1 week before getting your period ( more sensitive) WAX APPOINTMENT DON’TS - DON’T coat your body with lotions, creams, or oils - DON’T wear a lot (if any) deodorant when receiving an underarm wax - DON’T exfoliate 24-48 hours after appointment - DON’T tan 24-48 hours before or after appointment - DON’T shave between wax appointments - DON’T drink alcohol or a significant amount of caffeine before your appointment - DON’T withhold information from your esthetician —————————————————————————— POST-WAXING CARE - Do not touch freshly waxed skin - Do not exfoliate 48 hours post-wax - Do not have sex for at least 24-48 hours post-wax - Wait 48 hours to swim in the pool or at the beach - Post wax, avoid using perfumed products as the chemicals can aggravate the skin - Wait 24 hours before going to the gym. Sweating can cause bacterial infections and the friction from the tight clothes can cause redness and ingrown hairs. - Take a cool shower! Do not take a hot shower, get in a hot tub, or visit a sauna. Heat will cause your pores to widen, giving opportunity to break out and ingrown hairs. - Exfoliate 2-3 times a week in a circular motion until the next appointment All clients must follow the recommended post-waxing care to continue booking with Exquisite Touch Aesthetics.
